Mission & Vision
IEKA represents a private-law body (composed of its members) which has been vested with public functions, in the service of protecting the public interest. Such a public function is exercised primarily through the promotion and application of high-quality professional and ethical standards, and through the oversight and review of the quality of its members' work.
Pursuant to Law no. 10091, dated 05.03.2009 "On statutory audit, the organisation of the profession of the Statutory Auditor and the Approved Accountant" (as amended), the principal role of the Institute of Authorised Chartered Accountants is to regulate the organisation of the profession of the "Statutory Auditor" and to ensure that its members effectively carry out the statutory audit of the individual and consolidated annual financial statements of commercial companies.
In fulfilling their mission in the service of the public interest, every member of IEKA must apply high-quality professional and ethical standards and assume a leadership role, delivering a dynamic and practical service that contributes to sustainable economic development.

The mission of the Institute of Authorised Chartered Accountants (IEKA) is to regulate the organisation of the profession of the Statutory Auditor, so that its members may carry out the statutory audit of the individual and consolidated annual financial statements of commercial companies in a high-quality, effective and beneficial manner.

The vision of the Institute of Authorised Chartered Accountants (IEKA) is to build a profession founded on genuine ethical and professional values that strengthens confidence in Financial Reporting and protects the public interest.
